Sarah received her first college acceptance letter this weekend!!!!
Her letter was from Campbellsville University- which is in Kentucky about 2 1/2 hours north of us. Campbellsville was the first college visit and now they have the honor of being the first acceptance letter. Perhaps that is a sign of things to come???
We are awaiting to hear from 4 other universities that Sarah also applied to within the past month. Sarah won't make her final choice until after all the award/aid packages come back from the universities probably sometime in late winter/early spring.
Here is what the first few lines of the letter said:
Dear Sarah Thank you for your application for admission to Campbellsville University. Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as a freshman for the fall of 2011 semester.
Congratulations, Sarah! My name is Christina, I work in CU's University Communications office and I received a Google alert to this post. I hope you'll come to CU! You will love it. I just graduated in May, now I'm working here full time and starting my MBA. Hope to see you in the fall!
