This past weekend, we surprised the kids with a trip to a local corn maze. We purchased tickets for this on Groupon in September (great website with daily local deals on all kinds of stuff!). We were able to save 50% on our tickets for the maze and hayride, so it was a great deal. John and I were looking forward to this to celebrate the fall weather. We just had to wait until the cooler weather came on a weekend- ha ha!
We had a great time with all of the family and hope to do this again next year! This pot is pretty picture heavy, so I'll just caption a few of the shots.
This is an arial shot of the maze at the entrance. We were told it takes about 30-60 minutes to get through. There were not any guides on hand to help if we got lost, though I did see a lookout tower toward the middle of the field.
Ready to begin our journey!
Corn as far as the eye could see....
We took pictures in all of our dead ends...
I selected the most "wrong" turns with 2, we had a total of 8 in all.
JT enjoyed his ride through the maze.
Success! We finished!!!
Completed in 34 minutes!
A baby hay maze!
Checking out the tunnel. Is it safe?
JT discovered he loved all the tunnels!
I think he loved the tunnels because he was able to get dirty- very dirty!
1st ride down a big slide!
JT enjoyed the slide, but liked running around and the tunnels more.
He did LOVE the football toss! This boy loves his balls!!!
All of the kids- and Dad took a turn at the beanbag sling shot.
